 New Season Kick-Off: A Night of Exciting Matches in Plymouth Thursday Football League

Following a long-awaited return, the Plymouth Thursday Football League is back in full swing, with compelling matches marking the start of the new season. Teams from Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 showcased their skills on the pitch in a night of thrilling competition.

In Division 1, Wild Boys started the season with a bang, securing a commendable 2-0 victory over Ajax Treesdown. In another closely contested game, Niall P Ennis and Keith It Lemon ended in a 2-2 draw, leaving both teams with a point each.

Division 2 also witnessed some fierce competition. Wet Spam United emerged victorious against Coastline, with a final score of 3-1. In a nail-biting match, Kurts Victims and Evolve FC were left at a stalemate, with both teams scoring two goals each.

In Division 3, some promising teams made their mark. Collins Princesse’s started their season on a high note, with a 1-0 victory against Sports Team. Cpr Football outplayed Moat-A-Boat, scoring three goals to one. However, the biggest win of the division was by GA Solicitors, who demolished Meavy Massive with a 4-0 victory.

The top scorers of each division were truly the highlight of the week. From Division 1, the Wild Boys led the chart, while in Division 2, Wet Spam United took the honor. Division 3 saw GA Solicitors as the highest scorers, opening their campaign with a bang.
