New Dover Monday 5 a side league kicks off!

The much anticipated Dover Monday Football League season kicked off with a bang last night as teams in the Premier League division showcased their skills on the pitch. The week one clashes were highlighted by high-score matches, setting the tone for a thrilling season ahead as we build the league in the coming weeks.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In one of the most exhilarating matches, Whitey Wanderers faced Dynamo Kent, resulting in a nail-biting contest. With a staggering 20 goals between them, Dynamo Kent emerged victorious with a final score of 11-9. The match exhibited end-to-end action that left us on the edge of our seats. Dynamo Kent's precision on the attack made the difference, securing them an important victory as the season begins.

Unathletico Madrid took on Kurdish Team in the other league game. The Kurdish Team showcased their high-octane attack, netting 11 goals, whilst Unathletico Madrid managed 5. The Kurdish Team, with its fast-paced gameplay and well-executed strategies, set the bar high for the rest of the season. Madrid also stayed on to take on another new team who just missed the cut for the current league in a friendly. 

The opening week of the Dover Monday Football League has given indications of a promising season ahead with room to extend the league in the coming weeks. The Premier League teams have set an unprecedented pace, with each team eager to make its mark. As we gear up for the rest of the season, it promises to be a roller coaster ride of high scores, exhilarating gameplay, and the best of 5 a side football.
