Eastbourne Wednesday 6 a side news 12th June

Excitement filled the air in Eastbourne last night as week 8 of the thrilling Wednesday 6-a-side Football League took place. The evening was filled with spectacular goals, formidable defences, and excellent teamwork on display by all teams. The participants have now just two weeks left to secure their spots in the following season, and it's all to play for.

In the Premier League division, the match between KnivesAndForks and Slotitinham was a thrilling contest. KnivesAndForks showed a strong performance, coming out victorious with a clean sheet, defeating Slotitinham 3-0. However, the highlight of the night came from the dominant play of Team Bill It, who triumphed over Suicide Squad with a whopping 17-0 win. Old Town Dads were also victorious, securing a 3-0 win against Expected Toulouse. Joe Westlake of Team Bill It was the player of the night, finding the back of the net six times, making him the top scorer in the Premier League division for the week.

Moving on to Division 1, Chuffer Squad displayed an impressive game, beating UNathletico Madrid 7-1. There was a fierce competition between FC EASTBOURNE and Inter Your Nan, with the match ending in a 2-2 draw. The star player in Division 1 was none other than CALLUM of Chuffer Squad, who also netted six goals, earning him the top scorer spot in this division.

With only two weeks left of the season, the stakes are higher than ever as teams battle to secure their place in the next season. As we look forward to next week's games, one thing is for sure, the Eastbourne Wednesday league continues to offer some of the most exciting local football action around.
