Play in the Southend Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the thrilling world of local football, the Southend Sunday 7-a-side league entered its fifth week, and teams in the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 provided spectators and fans with exciting performances and high-quality football.

In the Premier League, Varane Summers and LL CFC went head to head in an adrenaline-pumping match that ended in a 3-2 win for Varane Summers. The game was a nail-biter, with both teams displaying exceptional skills and tactics, but Varane Summers eventually nudged ahead to claim victory. Meanwhile, another high-stakes Premier League match saw Essex Regiment draw with Steve's Specials in a 2-2 tie, keeping the competition in the top division fierce.

Over at Division 1, S.I.N and F.C Sparkathorn ended their match in a 1-1 stalemate, each team displaying awesome defensive tactics. BigHs 2nd also managed to edge past Varane Summers 2nds in a thrilling 3-2 victory that had spectators on the edge of their seats.

Division 2 was not left out of the action. MITS Athletic was up against Porters 7s, but it was Porters who emerged victorious with a 4-2 win. Meanwhile, Sparkalona was outperformed by LL CFC 2nds, with the match ending in a 6-2 win for LL CFC 2nds.

As this exciting week wraps up, we celebrate the top scorers from each division. In the Premier League, the top scorer is from Varane Summers, who put in a superb performance. In Division 1, the highest scorer is from BigHs 2nd, while a player from Porters 7s has claimed the top spot in Division 2.
