The Southend Sunday Football League saw an adrenaline-fueled round of fixtures in week nine with some thrilling matches in the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2.

In the Premier League, the Essex Regiment secured an impressive 3-0 victory over Big Hs 7s, showing their dominance in the game. On the other hand, an exciting clash between Varane Summers and Steve's Specials saw the latter edge out a hard-fought 3-2 win, which certainly added to the drama of the night.

The action continued in Division 1, where Varane Summers 2nds narrowly defeated S.I.N. by 1-0 in a tense encounter. Mellow Yellows also managed to secure a 2-1 victory over F.C Sparkathorn. These results suggest a level of competitiveness in Division 1 that promises more thrilling showdowns to come.
