In an electrifying week 5 of the highly competitive Southend Sunday Football League, a series of thrilling matches unfolded. Both underdogs and favorites clashed across three divisions: Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2, offering football enthusiasts a spectacle to remember.

In the 'Premier League' division, the headlines were dominated by the Steve's Specials' crushing victory over F.C Sparkathorn with an impressive score of 8-1, staking their claim as a force to reckon with in the league. Varane Summers managed to edge out Big Hs 7s in a closely contested match, with a final score of 2-1. The league also saw LL CFC pulling off a clean sheet with a 2-0 triumph over Climatec Fc, in what was a strategically mastered game.

Moving to 'Division 1', Mellow Yellows managed to squeeze through with a 1-0 victory against Shark Island Nightmares. In the other match of the division, BigHs 2nd exhibited a dominant performance and claimed victory over LL CFC 2nds, with the scoreboard reading 4-1.

'Division 2' showcased some equally spirited performances, with Sparkalona pulling off a 2-0 win against MITS United. In another face-off, Shoebury Unathletic triumphed over S.I.N., registering a 2-1 victory.
