SOUTHEND SUNDAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE REPORT: WEEK 9
In an exhilarating Week 9 of the Southend Sunday Football League, the Premier League and Division 1 teams battled out intensely to secure their spots on the league table.
In the Premier League division, Big Hs 7s secured a tight win against She'll Do FC, edging them out in a 2-1 finish that kept fans on the edge of their seats. MITS Athletic and F.C Sparkathorn fought hard, but neither team could break the deadlock and the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Enemies Of The State claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over Shark Island Nightmares, while the most thrilling match of the day saw Steve's Specials clinch a 3-2 victory in a nail-biting finish against Tea And Busquets.
Over in Division 1, Mellow Yellows displayed their supremacy with an impressive 5-2 win against MITS United. BigHs 2nd made a statement with an 8-0 trouncing of Shoebury Unathletic, while S.I.N. and Sparkalona had a competitive clash, with S.I.N. emerging victorious with a 4-2 final score.

In the Premier League, Steve's Specials' striker was the top scorer, bagging two goals in their thrilling victory, while in Division 1, a forward from BigHs 2nd demonstrated an extraordinary performance, netting four goals in their dominant win against Shoebury Unathletic.
