The fifth week of the Southend Sunday Football League was a nail-biter, with close games across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2. The league, which took place last night, saw both fierce competition and sportsmanship at its finest.

In the Premier League division, MITS United and LL CFC played to a 1 - 1 draw. The hotly contested match between Shoebury Unathletic and Steve's Specials also ended with a leveled score of 3 - 3. Big Hs 7s, on the other hand, bagged a decisive victory over She'll Do FC with a score of 4 - 0.

Division 1 saw slightly less balance but no less competition. Shark Island Nightmares triumphed over Mellow Yellows with a scoreline of 4 - 2. LL CFC 2nds edged out Tea And Busquets in a narrow 2 - 1 win, while F.C Sparkathorn and BigHs 2nd settled with a 0 - 0 draw.

Meanwhile, over in Division 2, S.I.N. blanked MITS Athletic with a 3 - 0 scoreline. Southend Eagles pulled off a critical 1 - 0 win against Shoebury Very Unathletic, and Sparkalona topped She'll Do FC 2nds with a 2 - 0 victory.

Whilst the top scorers for each division are yet to be revealed, the spectacular plays and sportsmanship displayed by all teams promise an exciting end to the season.
