Exeter Tuesday 6 a side end of season

In a thrilling week 14 of the Exeter Tuesday 6-a-side football league, the action came to a climax as teams across four divisions battled it out for their respective titles. The Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 all saw a flurry of goals and exciting competition.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Wacko FC clinched the title with an impressive total of 22 points from 11 victories. Their standout performance came against Snortsmouth United where they emerged victorious with a 14-2 scoreline. The top scorer of the division, Alex Bond from HEAV CRESS, netted an impressive total of 5 goals in their big 16-3 win over Saints but it wasn't enough to clinch the title which was decided in Wacko's favour on goal difference. In other results their was an exciting 7-7 draw between Thirsty Beaver and Strawberry Moussa while 6 Bricks won 5-2 against The Boys.

DIVISION ONE

Moving down to Division 1, Boyzees stood out as the champions, amassing a total of 25 points from 12 wins. Their triumph was marked by a 15-0 victory over Shin Kickers Utd. The division's top scorer, Matt Webb, was instrumental for Boyzees, contributing 5 goals. Also clinching promotion by the narrowest of margin was Rigor Mortys who edged Diff Heads 2-1 on the night to go up on goal difference. Albanian Rozzers just missed out despite a hard fought 2-1 win of their own against Murder On Zidane's Floor. The other game in the division saw The Beans beat We Argue 6-3.

DIVISION TWO

In Division 2, Tiki Taka reigned supreme, gathering 22 points from 10 wins, they finished the season with a 3-3 draw against third place Chubby Alonso's. Spoono Fernandes also sealed back to back promotions as they finished as runners up after a 3-3 draw with Class On Grass. Sam Probert of Pathetic Athletic topped the goal-scoring charts with a total of 4 goals this week as they defeated Sands 10-0.

DIVISION THREE

Division 3 saw Goal Goal Power Rangers clinch the division title with a total of 20 points and 8 victories, they rounded off the season with an emphatic 16-0 win against Topsham Tips. The most valued player of the week, Daniel Eaton, was from this division playing for Exonian FC. Eaton not only led his team to an 8-4 win over Win Some Lose Some to end their promotion hopes, but also ended up as the division's top scorer this week with 6 goals. With Win Some losing their final game, Partner snuck into second spot to win promotion as they edged Saka Potatoes 1-0 in their final game. Only Fools And Scorers saved their best performance of the season to the last match as they ran out 5-3 winners against Pique Blinders for their first win of the season.
