The city of Exeter witnessed some gripping football action last night as week 8 of the 6-a-side football league kicked off, featuring all four divisions: Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3.

Premier League

6 Bricks celebrated a triumphant 7-4 victory against Thirsty Beaver FC, with Josh leading the scoreboard by netting an impressive three goals. However, The Boys secured a decisive 5-2 win against Wacko FC, demonstrating their competitive prowess in the division.

Division 1 

Saw some exciting matchups as well, with Albanian Rozzers edging out The Beans in a 3-1 game. Tiki Taka overpowered Strawberry Moussa with a 4-2 score, with Josh Brown contributing two crucial goals to Tiki Taka's victory. East Ham was defeated 2-0 by Spoono Fernandes, concluding the Division 1 encounters for the week.

Division 2

We Argue FC fell short against Sands United FC Exeter, losing the match 2-1. Chubby Alonso's faced a 4-2 defeat against Puyol Pants Down, with Taylor White scoring two key goals for Chubby Alonso's. Diff Heads enjoyed a dominant 6-0 victory against Goal Goal Power Rangers, stirring up the competition in the division.

Division 3

AFC Class On Grass defeated Mason Getafe Me 4-0, with James Crocker contributing two important goals. The WHC emerged as winners against Win Some Lose Some with a score of 5-1. Dads Army also secured a 4-0 victory against Vasco Da Gama FC, while Exonian FC won 6-3 against Inter My Van.

All four divisions exhibited thrilling football, showcasing the diverse talent and competitive spirit present in Exeter's football scene. As we head into the 9th week of the league, anticipation builds for the forthcoming battles on the pitch.
