In a thrilling week of sports, the Exeter Tuesday 6-a-side Football league entered its 10th week, with teams across four divisions battling it out and producing some exceptional performances.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, significant victories were recorded by 6 Bricks with a decisive 8-3 win against Snortsmouth United. HEAV CRESS stood victorious with a 6-4 win over Strawberry Moussa to go top of the table while The Boys narrowly lost to Saints in a high-scoring game that ended 9-7. Reigning champions Thirsty Beaver recorded an impressive 6-1 win over Wacko.
DIVISION ONE
Division 1 saw a remarkable performance by Albanian Rozzers, winning 9-0 against Shin Kickers Utd. Leaders Boyzees also secured a comfortable 5-1 victory over The Beans. The Division 1 top scorer was Neil Quessou from Albanian Rozzers who netted 3 goals. Second place Rigor Morty's stay in the promotion places despite a narrow 2-1 loss to We Argue while Murder On Zidane's Floor recorded a 4-2 win over Diff Heads.
DIVISION TWO
In Division 2, Chubby Alonso's dominated the field with a 13-3 win over Greggs United. Sands United FC Exeter also impressed with a 3-0 victory against Werder Beermen. Leaders Tiki Taka secured a solid 2-0 win over second place Spoono Fernandes while Barber1 won 5-2 away at Class On Grass. Taylor White from Chubby Alonso's reigned as the top scorer in this division with a hat-trick.
DIVISION THREE
Division 3 witnessed some exciting matches, including a strong performance by Exonian Fc who beat Only Fools And Ballers 6-3. Goal Goal Power Rangers clinched a 9-4 victory over Pique Blinders to rise to the top of the division on goal difference. Mary Poppins suffered a surprise defeat as they went down 1-0 to Saka Potatoes while Win Some Lose Some climb to 4th after a 2-0 win at Partners. The top scorer for this division was Oli Frost who scored 4 goals for Goal Goal Power Rangers.
The standout player from all divisions, however, was Marlon Blum from Albanian Rozzers, who was crowned as the most valued player of the week. His exceptional performance was instrumental in their resounding victory, highlighting his pivotal role in the team.
