Exeter Tuesday 6 a side news - match day 11

In an exciting week of football, the Exeter Tuesday 6-a-side football league witnessed high adrenaline action in its eleventh week. Each division saw thrilling matches and a showcase of exceptional talent, with many players vying for the top scorer position.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, leaders HEAV CRESS emerged victorious against Snortsmouth United with a stunning 6-2 win. Saints held their ground, defeating Strawberry Moussa 12-4, while Wacko FC secured their win against The Boys with an 8-4 scoreline. In another nail-biting match, Thirsty Beaver FC managed to surpass 6 Bricks with a 5-2 win.

DIVISION ONE

Division 1 saw Diff Heads dominating the field with an impressive 12-0 victory over Shin Kickers Utd. Albanian Rozzers clinched a win against Rigor Mortys 5-3 and Boyzees blanked We Argue FC with a 5-0 score. The Beans also lost to Murder on Zidanes Floor by 5-0.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 saw Sands United FC Exeter narrowly beat leaders Tiki Taka 2-1 to tighten up the division with Tiki holding on to top spot on goal difference. However, the highlight of the division was Spoono Fernandes' stunning 10-2 victory over Greggs United, with Rob Stapley scoring a hat-trick. Other games saw Barber1 narrowly go down to Chubby Alonso's 2-1 while Werder Beermen moved clear of relegation danger with a 4-2 win over Class On Grass.

DIVISION THREE

Division 3 saw Saka Potatoes narrowly win 4-3 against Pique Blinders and Win Some Lose Some defeating Only Fools And Ballers with a 3-0 win. The game between Goal Goal Power Rangers and Partners was sadly void due to a serious injury to a Partners player, we wish him a full and speedy recovering, nothing malicious in the incident but an awkward landing for the player unfortunately. Exonian picked up a 5-0 in their game with Mary Sloppins not in attendance.

The standout player of the week, however, was Kai Cabrera from Spoono Fernandes, who earned the title of the Most Valued Player. His stellar performance was instrumental in his team’s victory and left a lasting impact on the crowd. The tournament continues to deliver enthralling football and we look forward to next week's games.

Thank you to Neil for doing an excellent job of running the night and to all of our referee's and players. Good luck next week!
