In a thrilling week of football, Exeter Tuesday's 6 a side Football league saw high-spirited play and remarkable performances in its 12th week. With only two weeks left in the season, teams in the Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 are tightening their laces to secure their final spots in the league.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, matches were electrified with intense competition. HEAV CRESS and 6 Bricks fought to a 4-4 draw while Saints triumphed over Snortsmouth United with a score of 7-4. The top scorer of the Premier League was Finlay Short, who netted an impressive seven goals for the victorious Saints. We have new leaders as Wacko went top on goal difference after a a 7-2 victory over Strawberry Moussa. Reigning champions Thirsty Beaver are still in contention after they won 6-4 at The Boys to stay a point behind the top two.
DIVISION ONE
In Div 1, Murder On Zidanes Floor delivering an 8-0 defeat to We Argue FC and Rigor Mortys claiming a solid 7-0 victory over Shin Kickers Utd. Leaders and champions Boyzees cruised to a 6-0 win over Albanian Rozzers while the closest game in the division saw The Beans and Diff Heads draw 2-2.
DIVISION TWO
Moving on to Division 2, table toppers Tiki Taka dominated Class On Grass with a whopping 7-1 scoreline. Here, Josh Brown from Tiki Taka was the standout player, scoring four goals for his team. Second place Spoono Fernandes were held to a 0-0 draw by Sands while Chubby Alonso's stayed in the hunt in third after a 6-2 win over Werder Beermen. New team Pathetic Athletic delivered a 4-0 victory over Barber1.
DIVISION THREE
Lastly, in Division 3, leaders Goal Goal Power Rangers showed their might with an 8-1 win over Only Fools And Ballers. Owen Rawlings led the scoring with three goals for the Power Rangers. Partners are up to second after a 5-3 win against Pique Blinders. Win Some Lose Some are still in the promotion race as they defeated Topsham Tips 13-2 while Saka Potatoes won 7-3 at Exonian.
This week's most valued player award was clinched by Morgan Maule from Wacko FC, who delivered an outstanding performance. His stellar play did not go unnoticed, earning him accolades from all.
As the season nears its end, the competition is heating up. The stage is set for the teams to give everything they have and secure their positions in the tables.
