Exeter Tuesday 6 a side news - match day 3

In a thrilling night of action, Week 3 of the Exeter Tuesday 6-a-side Football League had us on the edge of our seats under the floodlights at Exwick Sports Hub.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League division, Strawberry Moussa emerged victorious over Rigor Mortys with a 8-3 win. The most intense match of the night saw 6 Bricks triumph over Wacko FC in a high-scoring 7-3 spectacle. Heav Cres enjoyed a 7-1 win over TGFC while Thirsty Beaver defeated returning team East Ham 6-2.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, the spotlight was stolen by Isaac Littlejohns of Snortsmouth United who stood as the leading scorer of the division by netting four goals in his team's 6-2 win against The Beans. Spoono Fernandes and We Argue Fc played out an interesting 3-3 draw while Albanian Rozzers dominated Tiki Taka with an 11-0 victory to go top.

DIVISION TWO  

Division 2 saw an impressive performance from Daniel Fricker of Goal Goal Power Rangers who scored a hat-trick to help his team secure a 5-2 win over Sands United FC as they went top. Diff Heads moved up to third as they ended Pathetic Athletic's 100% record with a 5-1 win over them. Werder Beermen enjoyed a 8-1 victory against Shin Kickers Utd while Internacional when a thilling game against Chubby Alonso's 4-3.

DIVISION THREE

In Division 3, Pique Blinders drew 3-3 against Win Some Lose Some, with Josh Tucker of Pique Blinders taking home the honour of the division's top scorer with two goals. Exonian FC scored a 6-2 victory over AFC Class On Grass to rise to the top of the early season table while Puyol Pants Down beat Topsham Tips FC 3-1.

The highlight of the week, however, was Regan Gent of We Argue FC, who was named the most valued player for his outstanding performance and contribution to his team.

As the league progresses, the competition only seems to be heating up. We await the next round of matches eagerly, as teams regroup and prepare to take to the pitch again.
