In the heart-stopping week seven of Exeter Tuesday's 6 A Side Football League, teams across four divisions displayed their mettle in an exhilarating series of matches.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, the night was full of riveting goals as 6 Bricks triumphed over WSFC with a stunning 12-1 victory. Showing equal flair was the team HEAV CRESS, whose 8-1 win over Wacko FC was made even more impressive by their star player, Alfie Littler. Alfie emerged as the top scorer in the Premier League division and was named the Most Valued Player of the week, netting an amazing six goals. Leaders Thirsty Beaver kept their 100% record going with a 7-3 win over The Beans while The Boys defeated Strawberry Moussa 6-2.
DIVISION ONE
Division 1 saw its share of exhilarating action, with new boys Diff Heads clinching a 7-2 victory over We Argue FC. Louis Adey stood out as the division's top scorer, netting four goals for leaders Saints as they beat Crackin Plurrs 8-1. Second place Come Digne With Me edged out Greggs 3-2 while The Mavericks won another tight game 4-3 against Rigor Morty's.
DIVISION TWO
The Division 2 games were equally explosive, with Claudias Dream Boys securing a 6-4 win over Pique Blinders, thanks to Ollie Blackmore's remarkable performance. Ollie bagged four goals, establishing himself as the top scorer for his division. Leaders Boyzees came up against a dogged Tiki Taka side as they eventually sealed the win 4-1. Goal Goal Power Rangers won a nine goal thriller 5-4 against Chubby Alonso's while Werder Beermen had an impressive 4-1 away win at Albanian Rozzers.
DIVISION THREE
In Division 3, the standout match had Exonian FC drawing 8-8 with Spoono Fernandes in a goal-laden showdown. Kai Cabrera of Spoono Fernandes clinched the top scorer spot for his division, netting an impressive six goals in the game as Spoono stay top. Partners bounced back from last weeks loss to move back into the promotion places with a 3-1 win against Only Fools And Scorers. Sands slip out of the top two after a 5-1 defeat away at Gundis. Finally Win Some Lose Some impressed on the night, beating EX4 5-0 to climb off the bottom of the table.
Week seven of the Exeter Tuesday league proved the spirit of competition is alive and well, with players and teams showing extraordinary commitment and sportsmanship. We are eagerly awaiting next weeks games and looking forward to more thrilling matches and exceptional individual performances.
