Let's take a look at all the results from another night of action from our Exeter Tuesday 6 a side league at Exwick Hub. We had 3 teams away this week but there was still some fantastic football that took place.
Thirsty Beaver extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to 4 points with a comfortable 11-3 win over Aqualogic Boys. Queasy Nurples are enjoying their first season in the Premier League, they rose up into second with an impressive 6-3 victory against reigning champions Los Cojonudos United, Aiden Whitfield with a hat-trick for the home team. Wacko FC sealed a big 18-5 win over Meal Deal United while FC RO and Chicken Tika Taka shared a high scoring 5-5 draw.
Denis Petrescu was the hat-trick hero as he helped FCSB stay top on goal difference with a 5-2 win against Hakuna Juan Mata. C.F Murrayball remain second after a points match win with Spoono Fernandes away. Cherries are only a point behind the top two as they kept the pressure up with a 5-2 victory against Tiki Taka. Crystal Phallas gave their survival hopes a shot in the arm as they won 7-3 away to The Dons.
Strawberry Moussa are the new leaders of Div 2 as they won 2-0 against International All Stars while Rigor Morty's lost a close game with Private FC 5-3. Giroud Sandstorm are now climbing the table as they picked up a 4-1 win away to Win Some Lose Some. Chubby Alonso's had a point match win with Blood, Sweat & Beers not able to play at very late notice. The Div 2 table is now really tight with the top 4 all level on 8 points with International All Stars only a point behind them.
Victor Moses Lawn and Crackin Plurrs continue to run away with it in the Div 3 promotion race but which one will win the title? Victor won 11-1 against Law Abiding Sigurdssons last night while Crackin Plurrs defeated Robin Me Koch 3-0, both will meet for the first time this season next week! Reus Crispies won't of given up on promotion just yet though as they sit third after a 5-0 win over Unreal Madrid, there's a 4 points gap but with the top two meeting next week there will be an opportunity to close it. Finally Wayne Brown followed up his hat-trick last week with a brace last night as Sands won 3-0 against Tinpot Town.
Thank you to Lester for stepping up and supervising/reffing with Neil having to attend to an emergency situation. Also thank you to our other refs and to all our teams. One issue I'd like to address again is guest players. We have had a few issues with a couple of teams taking advantage of the guest player rule which I will speak to Neil and those teams directly about. Please can I remind all teams that we have this rule so when teams are genuinely short you can borrow up to 2 players from another side to help. If you do ever need to do this then you then shouldn't have subs. Thanks for your cooperation on this matter, Cheers Rich
