Exeter Tuesday 6 a side results round up!

With the weather improving it's a great time to be out on the pitches playing at our Exeter Tuesday 6 a side league. It's not long before the 11 as side season comes to an end and with lighter evenings just around the corner it's great to be playing throughout the summer.

Thirsty Beaver moved to the top of the Premier League on goal difference after a big 19-1 win over Meal Deal United. Credit to Meal Deal who are giving it their best shot as they joined the league wanting to be in a lower division but are given it a go in the top flight. Champions Los Cojonudos also keep up their 100% record with a 12-3 win over Chicken Tiki Taka, Emiljano Mucaj with 5 strikes while the leagues top scorer Alvaro Bueno added 4. A nine goal thriller between Queasy Nurples and Wacko FC ended 5-4 to Nurples to move them into third.

CF Murrayball have maintained their impressive start to the season after relegation to Div 1 as they defeated Crystal Phallas 3-1 at home. Hat-tricks from Denis Petrescu and Cristi Ion helped FCSB bounce back from a loss to Murrayball last week to beat Tiki Taka 9-5. The Cherries moved up to third with a 10-0 win over Spoono Fernandes, Max Porter and Dan Woodcock with hat-tricks. John Caste and Brandon Milford scored braces for The Dons as they sealed a 4-2 win over Hakuna Juan Mata.

Div 2 is looking like the tightest of all the divisions with all four matches ending in draws or narrow wins. International All Stars went top of the table after a 2-2 draw with Chubby Alonso's, Strawberry Moussa dropped from top to 5th after a narrow 3-2 loss to Rigor Morty's, a special mention to Keegan Cooper of Rigor Morty's who plays the first half each week in goal before coming outfield second half, this week bagging himself two goals to help secure the victory. Giroud Sandstorm moved into third place as they won 2-1 away to Blood, Sweat & Beers. The bottom two sides met with Win Some Lose Some taking on Private FC, Luke Millan with a hat-trick for Win Some but it wasn't enough to get that win as both sides had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Finally we round off in Div 3, Victor Moses Lawn are enjoying a fine start to their first full season at Exwick as they top the table after four wins. Last night captain Adam Down scored twice while teammate Elias Crang hit a hat-trick as they beat Sands 5-0. Crackin Plurrs have also won their opening games and they managed another win as they defeated Reus Crispies 2-1. Unreal Madrid rose to fourth with a 3-0 victory against Tinpot Town FC while Robin Me Koch put in a solid display to beat Law Abiding Sigurdssons 2-0.

Thanks to Neil for running the night and to all our refs along with all our teams. Good luck on match day 5 next week! Cheers Rich 07969 731086
