Here's a look at all the results from our Exeter Tuesday 6 a side league last night at Exwick Hub. The majority of teams were in attendance although unfortunately covid related issues meant a couple of teams couldn't make it this week but will be returning next week.
There was a top of the table clash in the Premier League as champions Los Cojonudos United took on leaders Thirsty Beaver FC. Beaver prevailed and took the points in a tight match, winning 4-3 to move two points clear. Danny Ridgeway scored twice to give third place Queasy Nurples a 4-2 win away to Meal Deal United. Chicken Tiki Taka defeated new team Aqualogic Boys 7-4 while Wacko FC won 2-1 against another new side FC Romania.
FCSB went back to the top of Div 1 after an impressive 3-1 win at home to The Dons. Cherries knocked CF Murrayball off top spot and moved themselves just a point outside the promotion places with a 3-1 victory over them. Tiki Taka are third after a 2-1 win against Crystal Phallas while Hakuna Juan Mata picked up a points match win with Spoono Fernandes away this week.
Rigor Morty's went top of Div 2 as they enjoyed a 5-0 points match win with Blood, Sweat & Beers away, Steve DJ and Ryan Thompson did managed to bag a brace each in the friendly game against Chubby Alonso's. International All Stars had to settle for a point and drop to second as they drew with Win Some Lose Some. Strawberry Moussa moved up to third with an excellent 3-2 win away to Private FC. Giroud Sandstorm and Chubby Alonso's gave us a entertaining 3-3 draw to win themselves a point each, such a tight division this season, great to see.
Victor Moses Lawn stay at the summit of Div 3 after a hard fought 1-0 win over third place Reus Crispies. Crackin Plurrs played Hakuna Juan Mata from Div 1 in a points match with Law Abiding Sigurdssons away this week and didn't do bad winning it 4-1. This means they along with Victor Moses both have 100% records after 5 matches. The other two games in the division were close as Unreal Madrid defeated Sands United 4-3 while Robin Me Koch won 4-2 against Tinpot Town.
