We are approaching the business end of the season at our Exeter Tuesday 6 a side league at Exwick Hub. All teams were in attendance apart from Hardly who will be returning next week. Thank you to the guest team that stepped in at late notice to cover the game.
We have new leaders in the Premier League as Los Cojonudos moved back to the top of the table with a 9-1 win against Pie and Gravy who had a off day with their keeper missing this week. Thirsty Beaver stay in third spot, four points adrift of the leaders as they narrowly beat Tremors 3-2. In other results Inter had an impressive 9-1 win over Cherries while bottom side Murrayball won a nine goal thriller 5-4 against Chicken Tika Taka, the win won't save them from the drop but impressive nonetheless.
Queasy Nurples all but sealed promotion with a 6-2 win over Blood, Sweat & Beers as they run away with the Div 1 title. Belters move up into second as they won 5-2 against Hakuna Juan Mata. Fourth place DX United aren't out of the running for promotion yet as they inflicted a heavy defeat on Crystal Phallas 14-2 while Tika Taka won 4-0 against Private FC.
FCSB are now confirmed as champions of Div 2 as they continued their impressive record this season with a 4-1 win against International All Stars, that's 10 wins and a draw from their 11 games. The Dons are back into second as they edged their game against Unreal Madrid 2-1. Win Some Lose Some are also on the up as they beat Chubby Alonso's 5-2, Giroud Sandstorm picked up a points match win with Hardly away.
We finish our round up in Div 3 where Rigor Morty's 100% record went, although they do remain unbeaten after a 2-2 draw with third place Strawberry Moussa. Second place Reus Crispies failed to close the gap though as they were also held, drawing 1-1 with Cracking Plurrs. There was yet another draw in Div 3 as Sands and Into Ur Grandad also drew 1-1. Congratulations to Law Abiding Sigurdssons who after 10 straight defeats this season picked up their first win last night as they impressed during a 5-1 victory against Tinpot Town FC.
Thank you to all our teams and to Neil for overseeing the night along with all our refs. See you all next week for match day 12. Cheers Rich 07969 731086.
