The Faversham Monday 6-a-side football league kicked off its new season last night with electrifying performances from the teams in the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, Wheres My Hose At made an impressive start to the season, defeating Co-Op Mandem with a resounding 8-1 victory. Tom Holmes, from Wheres My Hose At, lit up the field with his extraordinary performance, netting three goals and emerging as the top scorer of the division in the first week. The other match in the league saw Abbey Street Elite overcome Inter YaNan in a tightly contested match with a 2-0 scoreline.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Queens Park Strangers narrowly edged out Crouch Potatoes with a 1-0 victory. The highlight of the night was the match between Sunshine Bus FC and Fav Relics that saw Fav Relics emerging victorious with a 3-1 win. Fav Relics' Eben was the standout performer, scoring two crucial goals and taking the top spot on the goal-scoring chart for the Division 1.

The season opener also saw Occasionally United starting on a high note, defeating Willian Dolla Bill 2-0 in a thrilling encounter.
