The Swindon Monday 6-a-side Football League jumped into action last night, marking the commencement of its new season with a series of thrilling matches.

The first week of the season saw some phenomenal play in Division 1. Well Wear Rubber Gloves Then got off to a robust start with a 3-1 victory over Netsix And Chill, setting an encouraging tone for their campaign this season. Bill Oddie's U19's delivered a dominant performance, annihilating Manes Militia in a crushing 7-0 victory. Klopps And Robbers couldn't keep pace with Chamakh My Pitch Up, who triumphed 4-1. KishanMySister also managed to secure an opening week win, defeating Champagne Super Rovers 2-0.

Over in Division 2, competition was equally fierce. Shut The FA Cup and AC Saka Potatoes ended all square in a 2-2 draw, while Schmeichel Jackson and Bayern Bru also shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw. Out On Bale snatched a 2-1 win against Pique Blinders, while Only Put Matip In and Dean CF ended in a 1-1 deadlock. Moyes In The Hood stole the show with a 5-1 victory over Ohana United.

The league's top scorers for the week were Bill Oddie's U19's in Division 1 with their whopping 7 goals, while Division 2's top scorers were Moyes In The Hood who put 5 past their opponents.
