Unplayables stay unbeaten since lockdown in six a side

Royal Wootton Bassett Monday Match report

It was another great night of action in the Royal Wootton Bassett Monday six a side football league at Gerard Buxton Sports Ground. As expected, every team was in attendance. There were some great games between some top sides. However, with three games left it is now confirmed that the new champions of the league are HPFC.

In the opening games of the night Deportivo secured a solid victory against Who Ate All Depays, running out 2-0 winners to keep hold of third place in the league table. For Depays on the other hand they slip back disappointingly losing more ground on the teams above them.

In the other early kick off, Pique Blinders got back to winning ways. They secured a convincing 3-0 win against the energetic 2 Goals 1 Cup to ensure they keep up the pressure on Exeter.

In the most convincing win of the night Moyes in the Hood won 7-0 against The Underdogs. The midfield battle is incredibly tight with 3rd down to 8th all within touching distance of one another.

On the other pitch the game was much tighter as Nalgo kept up their good form in the league to beat Alexandre LacOfKet 2-0.

In the final games of the night, Exeter impressively kept up their unbeaten run by narrowly seeing off Athletic Bilbao Baggins. The final score was 2-1 and Athletic will no doubt be gutted they weren’t me to secure at the very least a point.

The Unplayable’s kept up their unbeaten run since lockdown ended with a 3-1 win against AC A Little Silhouetto of Milan. This impressive form has seen the team climb to 4th in the table.

We are planning to play as normal on bank holiday Monday. I am away on holiday from Friday so will not be messaging teams as normal. Captains will receive a text on Thursday explaining what they need to do while I am away.

Have a great week!

Thanks,

Dan
