Weekly News from Monday 19th June

A superb night of football on Monday saw all teams basking in the sun for a terrific set of fixtures, with some wonderful games played. We had a series of remarkably tight games, with EPH All Stars the only team to win by more than three goals.

Leisure Leagues would like to remind all players of their responsibility to help ensure Glen Park is kept in the fantastic condition it is currently in. It is imperative all players and spectators either take their litter with them at the end of the night, or put it in the bins provided. This isn't just on the pitch, but in the car park too.

Could all teams also please note that you are more than welcome to play football on the grass prior to your match kicking off, but please make sure if you do play on the grass, you change your footwear before coming onto the astro turf. This is to prevent mud getting trampled onto the surface.

Failure to adhere to these requests could result in Leisure Leagues losing our booking, thus putting a stop to the league.
