WEEKLY UPDATE 23rd JANUARY

Another excellent evening in the spalding Monday league with all teams in attendance and everything running as scheduled.

With the removal of Exeter Gently last week it was good to see their replacements "Tottenham Hotsperm" play their first match this week, keeping the league running to capacity.

We did have a serious injury to a player from Shut The FA Cup who was tended to by a first response unit. I have spoken to their team manager today who has said that the player is as well as can be expected but will not be playing for a few months now. We would like to wish Mark a sppedy recovery. The team manager for Shut The FA Cup has asked me to express special thanks to our official Matt, as well as the players from The Sound Of Da Pulis who assisted their player for over an hour as they waited for the ambulance to arrive.
