In the heart of Cheshunt, the thrilling 4th week of the local 5-a-side football league concluded last night. A plethora of ardent teams across three divisions vied to make their mark, with some impressive performances in the limelight.
In Division 1, we only had one match this week, but it was a scorcher. The clash between Paralympiacos and 5 Guys ended in a staggering 24 - 5 victory for the latter. The 5 Guys displayed an exceptional performance, with their pinpoint passing, clinical finishes, and devoted defense, thus establishing a dominant presence in the division.
Division 2 witnessed two adrenaline-fueled encounters. The first match between Under5s and LPR FC ended in a decisive 12 - 4 victory for Under5s. Meanwhile, in the second match, Sweetcorn FC managed to edge past Moggers United with a 7 - 4 victory. Both Under5s and Sweetcorn FC proved their mettle on the field with some fantastic footwork and strategic play.
Finally, in Division 3, a trio of matches saw TESCO FC narrowly defeat Club De Route 1 with a score of 8 - 7. Meanwhile, Goal Diggers struggled against Sons Of Pitches, who managed an astounding 13 - 0 victory. The final match saw LeBoshers secure a decisive 5 - 1 win against Inter Yer Nan.
