Play in the Altrincham Thursday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

Altrincham Thursday's 6-a-side Football league saw a flurry of goals as teams battled it out on the pitch in the fifth week of the season, across three divisions namely, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3.

In Division 1, Sale FC made their mark by scoring an impressive 9-0 victory over Banchester Reincarnated, showcasing their offensive prowess. Oswestry FC and Bulban Clan 2 had a much closer encounter, with Oswestry FC edging out their competitors with a 3-2 win. In the last match of the division, Golazo FC and Brow Boys demonstrated a balanced display, ending the game in a 2-2 draw.

Division 2 played host to some exciting matchups too. Los Perros made their presence felt with a 4-0 triumph over Altys Finest FC, while UnderTheHelmet managed to secure a narrow 3-2 victory against Pint And 2 Es. In a closely contested match, FTJ FC outscored Vin Petrol FC 3-2. The last match of the division saw BIN SLIPPERS pull off a 3-1 win against Expected Toulouse.

In Division 3, Stamford Rejects displayed their defensive skills by holding off Al-Teaspoons FC for a 2-0 victory. Thirsty Thursdays FC overcame Inter Row Z 4-2, while PP FC and Timperley Tigers ended their match in a 2-2 draw. Neil Ritchie VI had a convincing 4-1 win against FAFO FC, rounding off the division games.

As the teams continue to vie for top spots, Sale FC, Los Perros, and Neil Ritchie VI emerged as the top scorers in their respective divisions. As we move into week 6, the competition is expected to intensify with teams looking to solidify their positions in their divisions.
