 Kick-off Week of Altrincham Thursday League Marks a Dramatic Start to the Season with Thrilling Matches

The much-anticipated season of Altrincham Thursday 6-a-side Football League took off to an enthralling start last night, with teams across Division 1, 2, and 3 putting up some breathtaking performances that clearly set the tone for the season.

In Division 1, the exhilarating match between TwoFourNine FC and Bin Slippers ended in a close 2-1 victory for the former. The night saw a shocking 8-0 defeat of Stamford Rejects by Los Perros, displaying a powerful start for Los Perros in the opening week.

Division 2 saw Altys Finest FC steamroll past Ball Busters in a one-sided 5-0 match. PP FC secured a close victory against Inter Row Z with a final score of 2-1. However, the standout performance was from Expected Toulouse, who dominated the field with a 5-1 rout against Cabaye James.

In Division 3, Timperley Tigers commenced their campaign with a 3-1 win over Al-Teaspoons FC. Bayern Munchin fell to Stamford Youth in a high scoring game of 5-3. The night witnessed a massive 9-0 victory of Neil Ritchie VI over Dariontina FC, marking the highest scoring game of the week. Knee-Dless and Flikmatip ended their match in a 1-1 draw.
