Altrincham’s Thursday Night Football League Wraps Up Week 2

The Altrincham Thursday 6-a-side Football League saw an exciting second week unfold with a host of unexpected results in Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3.

In Division 1, Oswestry FC made a statement with a dominant 5-1 victory over Bin Slippers. In another exciting contest, Sale FC edged out Los Perros 2-1 in a closely fought match. The Brow Boys, however, stole the show in Division 1 with a 4-2 win against Stamford Rejects.

Division 2 witnessed its own share of thrills and spills. Altys Finest FC turned in a stellar performance, outclassing Cabaye James with an impressive 7-2 victory. The Lads overcame PP FC 4-2 in a high-scoring match, while Ball Busters blanked Inter Row Z 3-0, showcasing their defensive prowess.

Meanwhile, in Division 3, Flikmatip put on an attacking masterclass, beating Al-Teaspoons FC 5-1. Dariontina FC managed to keep a clean sheet in a tough 2-0 victory against Knee-Dless. However, the highlight of the week was Neil Ritchie VI's commanding 7-1 win over Bayern Munchin. Timperley Tigers rounded off the week's action with a gritty 4-2 win over Stamford Youth.
