Play in the Halifax Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the thrilling week 9 of the Halifax Monday 5-a-side Football league, some truly impressive scores were registered in both the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, FC Floppy dominated their game against Powersheds FC with a convincing 6-1 victory. An aggressive attacking strategy and solid defense contributed to FC Floppy's major triumph, setting them apart as a force to be reckoned with in the Premier League. Big Gas FC were also outclassed by Fatboys with a 4-1 defeat. The highlight of the Premier League, however, was the high-scoring match between Calder V FC and EXPOSED NUGGETS FC. Calder V FC put up a spectacular show, thrashing their opponents 14-5.

Turning our attention to Division 1, TAA Very Much put on a masterclass performance against Daddy Day Care, winning 5-1. The most standout result, however, came from the clash between The Minnows and Only Fools And Scorers. Only Fools And Scorers ran rampant, securing a massive 14-1 victory, setting a new high score in the Division 1. Ogden United also had a good run against Murder On Zidanes Floor, winning 12-5. Dodgy Knees FC managed to clinch a victory in a closely contested match against Inky Jims FC, with a final score of 5-3.

The top scorers for the week were Calder V FC in the Premier League and Only Fools And Scorers in Division 1, both setting new scoring records in their respective divisions. Their outstanding performances have set the bar high for the rest of the season, creating an intense atmosphere of challenge and competitiveness.
