Last night marked the dramatic culmination of Week 14 of the Halifax Monday 5-a-side Football League. The high-octane action unfolded across two fiercely contested divisions, Premier League and Division 1, with Only Fools And Scorers and Daddy Day Care emerging victorious respectively.

In the Premier League, Only Fools And Scorers outshone their rivals, accruing 24 points from 12 victories. Despite falling short to Powersheds FC in a thrilling 8-6 encounter, their robust performance throughout the season ensured they clinched the league's top spot. Other games in the division saw Calder V FC overcome FC Floppy with an impressive 11-5 scoreline. Pudding Boys also succeeded in their match against EXPOSED NUGGETS FC with a solid 3-1 victory. However, the most decisive win of the evening belonged to TAA Very Much who demolished Pez Athletic with an 8-0 drubbing.

Over in Division 1, Daddy Day Care celebrated triumph with an impressive total of 23 points from 11 wins. Their final victory came against The Minnows, whom they dismissed 7-4. In Good Kompany also showcased their prowess with an impressive 6-3 triumph over Chippos Barmy Army. Dodgy Knees FC left no room for doubt, shutting out Sevilla Depression 4-0, while Inky Jims FC overcame Lukakus Touch 6-2.

The final week of the season was indeed a spectacle, with teams giving their all on the field. The competitive spirit and sportsmanship displayed by the teams were commendable.
