HALIFAX, MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL SHOWDOWN

Last evening saw the second week of the Halifax Monday Night Football league unfold with exhilarating action across two divisions: the Premier League and Division 1. The heart-racing games were a testament to the competitive spirit of the teams involved.

In the Premier League Division, an intense showdown between Calder V FC and Daddy Day Care finished with the latter edging out a 2-1 victory. Dodgy Knees FC and Pez Athletic left fans on the edge of their seats with a thrilling 4-4 draw. Fear Cityoooooo showed their prowess against Pudding Boys, securing a decisive 4-2 victory. However, the highlight of the evening was The Craftsmen against Valley Ultras, a high scoring match that ended 7-5 in favor of the Ultras.

Over in Division 1, The Minnows made a statement with an impressive 8-3 win over Diesel Rovers. Despite Brads Barmy Army's spirited fight, Inky Jims FC managed to clinch a 10-6 victory. Lads On Toure and TRANSLINE evenly split the points after a hard-fought 5-5 draw, while WTP FC fell short against EXPOSED NUGGETS FC, losing 5-4 in a nail-biting match.

While all teams showcased immense talent, specific players stood out as top scorers. In the Premier League Division, it was Valley Ultras' striker who stole the show with a hat trick, helping secure their win. Over in Division 1, The Minnows' forward was unstoppable, netting a staggering five goals in their triumphant match.

The Halifax Monday Night Football League will return next week with more thrilling action, as teams vie for top spots in their respective divisions. Fans eagerly anticipate more high-scoring matches and standout performances from each team's top scorers.
