MONDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER HALIFAX 5 A SIDE LEAGUE NEWS

All the latest news for the Halifax 5 a side Monday league direct from the 3GI Soccer centre.

It was a good night in the league with all teams in attendance as expected and playing some great football. 

We start the round up in the Premier league and Toffees had a big win putting 13 past Beacon who kept going all game and managed 5 themselves in reply.

Bow legged played their first game in the Premier league and tasted defeat for the first time going down narrowly to Fc Farcelona loosing 5-4.

The Minnows beat Greetland Massive 5-2 while Exposed Nuggets Fc defeated the new team TUFC 6-1.

In DIvision one Maine Street Elite beat Acapulcos XI 7-4 in a close game. Tractor Boys and Malia Fc also picked up wins in their league fixtures while Inter Ya nan were handed a 5-0 win.

Kershaw United start next week in the league and although they have been handed the top spot in the league they are aware they may not be given the league title if they end up in top spot with much of the season gone they have been given a massive head start on the other teams in the league.
