Weekly News from Monday 19th June

It was a thrilling night of football on Monday, with the teams in attendance going goal crazy. Every side found the back of the net at least twice, while Coke Diet and The Minnows bagged seven goals each.

We are also delighted to welcome new side Hugo Rodallega Bombs into the league, and they face Coke Diet in their first match. We would like to wish both teams good luck heading into this game. 

However there was one savoury incident to report, with Sam Drake from Football FC receiving a red card for abusing the referee. He will now face a £20 fine and two week ban for his actions.

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour at any of the leagues that we operate. Any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive fines and bans accordingly.
