WEDNESDAY 16TH OCTOBER HALIFAX 5 A SIDE LEAGUE NEWS

All the latest news for the Halifax 5 a side Wednesday league direct from the 3GI Soccer centre.

It was a good night in the league with all teams in attendance with the exception of Giraffe FC who did contact the office to inform us. They are back next week as normal.

This absence resulted in Braziliant receiving the 5-0 win ans now only need a point in the last game to confirm being crowned as Division one champions. Park farm Social CLub have done their best to take it to the final week of the season with last nights 9-5 win over Bulbous. Tea and Busquets can still take second and with it promotion to the Premier league thanks to their 8-3 win over NHGS Elite.

In the Premier league Bradford go into the final week of the season knowing a point should be enough to secure the title thanks to their superior goal difference as they beat Hardly Athletic 8-4 last night. Calder V are currently in second after their 11-3 win over Transline and they play Bradford in the final game of the season in a winner takes all match.

Obi Wan Kenobi Nil will be kicking themselves after last nights 5-4 loss to Living La Vida Reido leaving themselves needing a minor miracle to snatch the league title away from one of the top two now.
