WEDNESDAY 28TH AUGUST HALIFAX 5 A SIDE LEAGUE NEWS

All the latest news for the Halifax 5 a side Wednesday league direct from the 3GI Soccer centre.

It was a great night in the league with all teams in attendance playing some great football and scoring plenty of goals.

We start the round up in the Premier league where Calder V took on Living La Vida Reidoo in a close game that Reidoo eventually came out on top of winning 6-4.

Bradford and Obi Wan Kenobi NIl played out an even closer game which neither team could secure the win with the final score being 5-5. 

To round of the premier league action Hardly Athletic defeated Transline 6-3 in another game that on another night may have gone the other way but on this occasion Athletic were to strong.

Moving into Division one and the first game was a mirror image of the premier leagues first game with Park Farm Social getting the better of NHGS Elite 6-4.

Tea and Busquets put 10 past Giraffe FC who are still finding their feet in the league having only joined this season however they did manage 3 in reply.

To round the evening off unfortunately Dossers FC failed to attend and didn't contact the office either and as a result Braziliant are handed a 5-0 win.

With August quickly coming to a close any New team looking to join the league only has until Sunday to register for the league for Free.
