WEDNESDAY 2ND OCTOBER HALIFAX 5 A SIDE LEAGUE NEWS

All the latest news for the Halifax 5 a side Wednesday league direct from the 3GI Soccer centre.

It was a great night of action in the league with all teams in attendance as expected and playing some great football. 

There was aplenty of goals scored and we even had a 19 goal thriller won by the odd goal.

In the premier league the top 2 went head to head as Obi Wan Kenobi Nil and Bradford took on each other. Obi Wan ran out 6-5 winners to leap frog Bradford and go into the top spot.

This has blown the title race wide open with Calder V and Living la viedo reido only 2 points firther behind on 8 points each and this after the two went head to head with Calder V coming out on top 8-7 in another thrilling game. Transline beat Hardly Athletic 5-2 in the last game of the premier league. 

Moving onto Division one and Brazilliant look unstoppable in their bid to win the league and last night ran out 11-5 winners over Bulbous Fc. 

there are 3 teams currently locked on 8 points and looking to gain promotion with tea and busquets being one of them and winning 8-2 last night over Giraffe FC. 

The other two temas are NHGS Elite and Park farm social and they played each other in the final game of the division and what a game it was!! NHGS Elite finally got over the line winning 10-9.
