Weekly News from Wednesday 28th June

A great night of football on Wednesday saw all teams in attendance and some terrific games played. There were some magnificent goals scored too, and the games were played in a great spirit.

The only disappointment was a disciplinary incident in the game involving Yokos 5. Tim Neale was shown a red card after throwing a punch and then showing severe dissent towards both the referee and other players. As a consequence of his actions, Tim will be receiving a £20 fine and permanent ban from all future Leisure Leagues competition.

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour at any of the leagues that we operate. Any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive fines and bans accordingly.
