WEEKLY UPDATE FROM THE HALIFAX WEDNESDAY LEAGUE 24TH APRIL

Another excellent evening in the Halifax Wednesday league with all teams in attendance and everything running smoothly.

Calder V increased their lead at the top of the premier division to 3 points as they gained an impressive 5-2 victory over Orrufc Fivers in an entertaining match this week. Braziliant dropped 2 places this week as they went from second to fourth courtesy of a 6-5 defeat by Hardly Athletic in the match of the evening with both teams having opportunities to take the spoils. The remaining match in the division saw Bradford move into second place after they defeated Park Farm Social Club 8-7 in a very attacking encounter.

Football FC maintained their 100% start to the campaign thanks to their 5-3 victory over Rammers and stretch their lead at the top to 3 points. Obi Wan Kenobi Nil remain in second place despite suffering a 5-4 defeat at the hands of ABCDE FC. Tea & Busquets moved into third position on the back of their 9-5 victory over Living La Vida Reidoo.
