Another good evening in the Halifax Wednesday league with all teams in attendance apart from PMP LTD. It was unusual for them not to attend nor to make head office aware of their unavailability. We will be contacting them to ensure that they are back for next week or they will be replaced by a team from the waiting list.
The league itself saw Park Farm Social Club claim a fantastic 7-6 victory over Obi Wan Kenobi Nil in a thrilling end to end encounter to extend their lead at the top of the premier division to two points. Whilst Calder V took full advantage of Hardly Athletic going down 8-4 at the hands of Bradford by defeating Tea 7 Busquets 7-2 to move in to second place.
In division one ORRUFC Fivers extended their 100% record to five games as they were gifted a 5-0 victory this week but their lead at the top remains at 4 points after Transline claimed a 6-3 victory over Living La Vida Reidoo.
Whilst this league is currently full we are always looking to extend our leagues in the Halifax area. If you are interested in joining this or any of our other leagues, please enter your team details online and we will get you started as soon as we can.
