In a thrilling final week of the Halstead Monday 6-a-side Football league, teams from both the Premier League and Division 1 divisions battled it out on the pitch, showcasing their skills and determination to claim victory.
In the Premier League, Pinger Patrol faced off against Del Boys, with the latter seizing the win with a definitive 5-2 scoreline. Despite a spirited performance, De Jong Boys couldn't resist the onslaught of HIV Eindhoven, falling to a narrow 1-0 defeat. The limelight belonged to top scorer Sam from Del Boys who demonstrated exceptional skill, bagging two goals for his team.
Making their mark in the Premier League this season was CESC PISTOLS, who emerged as the victorious team with a total of 25 points from 12 wins, edging out their competition in an impressive display of teamwork and athleticism.
Meanwhile, over in Division 1, Egg Fried Declan Rice dominated the pitch against Chamakh My Pitch Up, with an impressive 8-1 victory. Nice To Michu overwhelmed KFC with a whopping 7-1 scoreline, while Mandys Dream Boys narrowly overcame Inter The Pub 1-0. In another highly charged match, Net Busters fell to Law Abiding Sigurdssons 0-5.
The ultimate laurels in Division 1, however, went to Nice To Michu. With a total of 22 points gathered from 9 wins, they demonstrated consistency and resolve throughout the season.
