Thrilling Week of Action in Halstead Monday 6-a-side Football League

The Halstead Monday 6-a-side Football League delivered a thrilling night of sporting drama last night, with several tightly contested matches across three divisions – the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.

In the Premier League division, a closely fought battle between CESC PISTOLS and Popped United resulted in a narrow 3-2 victory for CESC PISTOLS. Another nail-biting match saw Snorting Lisbon edge out Pinger Patrol 2-1 in a game that kept spectators on the edge till the final whistle. Meanwhile, HIV Eindhoven pulled off a stunning 3-2 win over Nice To Michu, highlighting the competitive nature of the division.

Over in Division 1, Law Abiding Sigurdssons delivered the performance of the night, scoring a whopping nine goals against Balls Deep who managed only two in response. WILDFLOWER FC also impressed with an 8-3 victory over KFC, while COYS toppled De Jong Boys 5-2 in an action-packed match.

In Division 2, there was no shortage of drama either. Inter The Pub clinched a tight 2-1 victory over Only Curls And Horses, while Net Busters and Lisp United dominated their respective matches, both sealing 4-0 wins against Sible Service and Jensons Under Fives respectively.

While the league saw many players deliver stand-out performances, the top scorers of the week were notable. In the Premier League division, it was the striker from CESC PISTOLS who stood out with a brace. In Division 1, a Law Abiding Sigurdssons' player stole the show with a stunning hat-trick. Over in Division 2, a forward from Net Busters scored all four of his team’s goals.
