The Halstead Monday Football League kicked off its season with much excitement as teams across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 divisions clashed in an exhilarating display of talent and strategy.

In the Premier League, CESC Pistols edged out Wildflower FC in a nail-biting 4-3 victory. Popped United also claimed victory over HIV Eindhoven with a close 3-2 win. Meanwhile, Lisp United demonstrated their dominance with a clean 3-0 shutout against Nice To Michu.

Moving on to Division 1, COYS beat Sible Service in a tight 2-1 match while Pinger Patrol enjoyed a comfortable 4-1 win over Inter The Pub. Pathetico Madrid also emerged victorious with a 2-0 scoreline against Johnos U12s. A closely contested match between Net Busters and KFC ended in a 1-1 draw, leaving both teams battling for superiority.

Division 2 saw The Goal Threats narrowly winning 1-0 against Balls Deep. Only Curls And Horses notched up a convincing 4-0 victory over Barbaras Boys. De Jong Boys triumphed 6-3 over Murder On Zidanes Floor in the highest scoring match of the evening. Jensons Under Fives and Egg Fried Declan Rice ended in a 1-1 stalemate, marking a competitive start to the season.

As the season has just begun, there are no clear leaders yet, but the top scorers for each division have certainly set the bar high. These players are contributing significantly to their teams and will be the ones to watch as the season progresses.
