The Northwich Monday 6 a Side Football League kicked off its new season last night with a series of enthralling matches in both the Premier League and Division 1. The fans were in for a treat as the players hit the ground running to stake their claim for the top spot.
In the Premier League division, Balotellitubies set the bar high, storming to a decisive 3-0 victory over UnAthletico Madrid. A strong performance from the team projected them to the forefront of the competition right from the get-go. Meanwhile, Barnton Fishermen managed to net an impressive 1-0 win against Parsolona, starting their season on a positive note. The biggest win of the night, however, came from KES who put on an outstanding performance, crushing No Chance FC with an 8-0 victory. The Hive FC and Gareth FC couldn't break the deadlock either, ending their game with a 0-0 scoreline.
