In what proved to be a thrilling conclusion to the Hertford Wednesday 5-a-side Football League, the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 finished their season in style last night. The energy was high as the teams faced off in the decisive Week 14, capping off a remarkable season.
In the Premier League division, The Quiet Man emerged as the victors, securing an impressive 27 points from 13 wins throughout the season. Their dominance was on full display last night as they went all out in an outstanding 9-4 victory over the Grecians.
Openview also made their mark by shutting out KIAS in a 5-0 victory. In another closely contested game, Puyol Pants Down narrowly took the win over Inter Minan by a scoreline of 2-1.
Over in Division 1, Big Ones F.C. reigned supreme, accumulating a total of 28 points from 14 triumphant victories. Their prowess was evident in their final match where they overpowered the Victor Moses Grass in a 5-0 triumph. Sex, Drugs N Carlton Cole and Gylfi Pleasure also scored big, finishing their games with 14-1 and 6-1 victories respectively.
Division 2 saw Inter Row Z seize the division title with a total of 19 points and 9 wins. BGH had a strong finish as well, defeating HE GOT THE BALL REF with a commanding 7-3 win.
