Our Monday night 6 a side league from the amazing Havant & Waterlooville stadium saw another great night of action this week as we returned from the Easter Bank Holiday for round 4 of the season before now breaking again for the May Bank Holiday this week.
We had pretty much a full turn out of teams but just a reminder that we do need 7 days notice should you need to miss a match, otherwise the match fees will still be required to be paid. Unlike most other providers who fix you in for a whole season, we only require 2 weeks notice if you wish to leave the league, but why would anyone want to do that when you have such a great facility and such amazing officials as we have in our league!
So to this weeks results and starting in the prem there were good wins for Cardiac Arrest and Puff Puff Pass while Great British Paving and Rapid Decline played out a thrilling 1 - 1 draw. Great to see the top flight goals being shared around with 12 different players getting their names on the scoresheet this week.
Division One saw Leaders Swan FC held to a brilliant 3 - 3 draw by OAPS FC while Westy squeezed past AFC Mole Hill 3 - 2. Island FC and Six Bells Vets had comfortable wins as Max Clapp netted 7 and Daniel Byng 5 for their victorious teams.
Kye Rovers match Cardiac Arrest as the only teams with 100% records this season to date and their great start continued with a 3 - 1 win over Leavmyarcelona. Bottle Jobs won comfortably as did SonsDads while Meat FC edged a close game with Willian Your Mouth 1 - 0. Well played to Harrison Benfield of SonsDads who helped himself to 4 goals and to Bottlejobs Lee Callaghan who went one better with 5 this week.
Just another reminder that we are off this week (2nd May) and then back for an unbroken run into the end of the season from Monday 9th May.
Have a great bank holiday weekend guys, see you in a few weeks.
