Havant Monday 6 a side end of season!
In an exhilarating final week of the Havant Monday 6-a-side football league, three teams emerged as champions, marking the end of the season.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Puff Puff Pass clinched the title with a total of 24 points earned from their 11 wins. Their campaign was characterized by tenacious play and teamwork. The division's final games were a spectacle, especially the match between El Pork Pies and Misfits which ended in a 4-1 victory for Misfits, champions Puff Puff ended with a 2-2 draw against Leigh Park while the departing Westy United were involved in a thriller against Smashers but just missed out on a win, going down 5-4. Zac Adams did scoop the Golden Boot for Westy though with 22 goals this season.
DIVISION TWO
Division 2 saw Smokin Jokers rise to the top. They secured the coveted title with a total of 26 points, from their impressive 13 wins. The match between Flamingo FC and Meat FC provided a thrilling 5-4 finish in Meat FC's favour as they finished second while Pol Gus won the other league game 4-2 against Giroud Sandstorm. The Golden Boot award went to Mikey Davies with 32 goals for Smokin Jokers.
DIVISION THREE
Division 3 was dominated by AFC Mole Hill, who claimed the division title with 22 points from 11 victories. In the division's final week, The Rejects outplayed MoLeicester City with a 6-1 win to finish as runners up while champion Mole Hill beat Meat Ressies 4-0. Other games saw Barely Athletic beat Saka Potatoes 4-1 while 2 Goals 1 Cup won 2-0 against Man Tity. The Golden Boot winner was Owen Murray of The Rejects who finished with 28 goals.
Thank Player Of the Season award was won by Ben Thomas of Puff Puff Pass as he captained his team to the Div 1 title, picking up 6 MVP awards along the way.
This season has been filled with high-energy performances and thrilling moments, all culminating in the final week's decisive victories. The Havant Monday League looks forward to another exciting season and congratulates all the winners and top scorers.
