Havant Monday 6 a side news - match day 2

Last night saw another exhilarating round of football as the Havant Monday 6-a-side league entered its second week, leaving us in awe of the incredible talent on display by the participating teams.

DIVISION ONE

In the Division 1 games, the Smashers dominated the field, defeating Berewood United with an astounding 8-0 victory. Dale Marsh from Smashers emerged as the top scorer of this division, netting an impressive total of four goals, proving instrumental in their triumph. The strength of AJB FC also did not go unnoticed, as they defeated Space Stars FC 4-1. Leigh Park United, however, had a challenging game, losing out 5-2 to Misfits.

DIVISION TWO

Moving on to Division 2, Terrible Ballsy were the standout team, registering a resounding 11-0 triumph over Dip Dip. Sam Redman, the star player from Terrible Ballsy, not only emerged as the top scorer for his division with four goals but also won the title of Most Valued Player of the week. His performance was instrumental in Terrible Ballsy's victory, further establishing their dominance in the competition. Clem Fandangoal enjoyed their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Saka Spuds while How Low Kanu Go bounced back from last weeks loss to beat El Pork Pies 5-2. The other game in Div 1 saw Marlon Packet continue their unbeaten start to the season with a 4-1 win against Moleicester City.

DIVISION THREE

In Division 3, the games were equally thrilling. Man Tity outplayed Barely Athletic with an 8-3 win, largely attributed to Isaac White's stellar performance. White scored four goals, earning the top scorer title for his division. Other matches saw 2 Goals 1 Cup narrowly defeating Giroud Sandstorm 3-2, Borussia Teeth blanking See Me Tired 5-0, and CLASSIC VI narrowly overcoming AFC Mole Hill 3-2.

As we move into the next week, we will be eagerly watching to see if the trends continue or if the underdogs will rise to the occasion and upset the status quo.

A big thank you to Mike for running the evening and to all of our refs and players. There is no league next week due to Easter bank holiday so we will be back in action on the 28th April.
