Havant Monday 6 a side news - match day 5

In the fifth week of Havant Monday’s 6-a-side Football League, the thrills and spills came flying in thick and fast across divisions 1, 2, and 3. The league demonstrated the finest grassroots football, full of passion and unprecedented talent, each division witnessing some spectacular matches.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Puff Puff Pass demonstrated their dominance over the Leigh Park United with a convincing 3-0 win while Smashers lived up to their name, dispatching Team Of The Weak in a remarkable 9-1 victory, credit to Team Of The Weak for getting their goal in the game courtesy of Ross McMillan. Kanut Hit The Net FC fell to Smokin Jokers, who earned a clean 6-0 victory. Misfits had a tough night against Meat FC, ending the match with a 7-1 defeat.

A standout performance came from Jacob Payne of Smashers. Scoring a whopping six goals, Payne claimed the top scorer spot for Division 1.

DIVISION TWO

In Division 2, Rapid Decline outperformed AFC Mole Hill with a 4-2 win while Pol Gus registered an 8-4 victory over Terrible Ballsy. The Rejects became the talk of the division with their stunning 15-0 win over Solent Sports Pride while El Pork Pies secured a 4-0 win against Flamingo Fc. Top scorer for Division 2, Owen Murray, shined for The Rejects, netting an impressive eight goals.

DIVISION THREE 

Division 3 saw MoLeicester City overcome 2 Goals 1 Cup with a 4-1 win. AJB FC pulled off a robust 7-2 victory against Meat Reserves and Man Tity lost 4-2 to Saka Spuds. Giroud Sandstorm emerged victorious with a 3-0 win against Barely Athletic. Jessy Cummins of AJB FC was the standout performer in Division 3, contributing six goals to his team's tally.

As we move into week six, the Havant Monday Football League continues to promise more action, goals, and edge-of-the-seat football. Stay tuned for the next round of fixtures.
