Havant Monday 6 a side news - match day 8

It was an electrifying week 8 of the Havant Monday 6-a-side Football League last night at Havant & Waterlooville FC as we moved into the second half of the season.

DIVISION ONE

Division 1's Smokin Jokers moved their way up the table with a crucial victory over Leigh Park United, courtesy of a fantastic double from top scorer Mikey Davis. In a hard-fought match, Smashers also held their nerve to edge past Meat FC 2-1, thanks in part to the efforts of the week's most valued player, Dale Marsh. Kanut Hit The Net FC were unfortunate not to take anything away from their clash with Space Stars FC, narrowly losing 3-2 in a thrilling encounter.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 was rife with surprises and strong performances. Pol Gus pulled off an impressive 4-1 victory against Puyol Pants Down, with Charlie Lewis stepping up to the plate and netting twice. The Rejects also clinched a narrow win against AFC Mole Hill, winning 1-0 while El Pork Pies and Terrible Ballsy battled to a 2-2 draw. Flamingo FC and Rapid Decline produced a five-goal thriller, which Rapid Decline edged it 3-2.

DIVISION THREE

In Division 3, Saka Spuds ran riot with a 7-3 triumph over 2 Goals 1 Cup, while an impressive MoLeicester City squad put three past Giroud Sandstorm without reply. Top scorer this week Mason Macgill was in scintillating form for MoLeicester, netting a hat-trick. Man Tity also secured a narrow victory against Meat Reserves, winning 3-2 in a gripping fixture.

As the season progresses, the competition across all divisions continues to heat up. With goals aplenty and exciting talent on display, next week's fixtures are eagerly awaited!

Thank you to Mike for running the evening so well down at Westleigh and to our referee's and players. Good luck on match day 9 next week!
