We had another massive night down at Westleigh Park last night for week 5 of our season of 6 a side in Havant
All our teams were there but we did lose a coupe of sides in the morning of match day with both Bottle Jobs and The Hurricanes ending their seasons early due to injury. Luckily we had a team ready to go and we are really grateful that 2 Me 2 You were able to come in at short notice and play two games. They take up a place in Div Two and we have another new side ready to go next week. Amazing that within 12 hours of the space showing on the website we had 3 new teams sign up for the spot. Great to have the league in such a strong place.
Check out the highlights of this week’s games below.
PREMIER LEAGUE
Cardiac Arrest have played 5 and won 5 to top the division and it was another clean sheet for them this week with a 5 - 0 win over Puff Puff Pass, Ben Johnson with 4 of the 5 goals for his team. Westy remain their closest challengers just 2 points behind and they now open up a handy gap of 3 points to 3rd place with a good 4 - 1 win over OAP's. Jack Ainsley netting twice for the H&WFC Fan club team. Tyler Moret bagged 4 for A.W.FC in their big win over Kye Rovers and they climb out of the bottom 2 as we reach the half way point in the season.
DIVISION ONE
As expected Don't Go Nowhere are dominating Division One, they are definitely a prem strength team and it's frustrating that they aren't able to compete at that level this season but they won again last night and are now 5 points clear in an otherwise very competitive division. Smashers gave a great account of themselves and the 3 - 2 win for DGN came after a tough game. Rapid Decline won 2 - 0 over AFC Mole Hill to sit 3rd on 5 points just ahead of Meat FC who also won 3 - 1 against Bub Bub.
Big thanks as always to our Supervisor Mike and his brilliant
